These works are made from newspaper and magazine photos, carefully cut and rearranged on many cut photos of backgrounds, joined to create the illusion of a whole new background. The subject matter is whatever is relevant to a theme, such as greed or vanity, or to a current or recent event, such as 9-11. All of the photomontages create a new reality while depicting the artist's views about the world.
